Pulse Tools

Pulse tools are air tools which delivers their output torque over a hydraulic pulse mechanism. The tool can apply the torque without reaction because the pulse frequency is putting the torque in many little pieces which does not overcome the inertia of the tool. Additionally, pulse tools have the best torque to weight ratio of all assembly air tools and are unrivaled fast. The fit the best for the following applications:
Joints with high torques
Direct accessible joints
Joints where reaction bars and supporting devices are not feasible
Assemblies with high productivity goals
If you compare the fastening curve of a pulse tool you will notice that there is a saturation limit when the tool is reaching its maximum output torque. That is perfect if you have a joint where you need joint conditioning. There are two different models of pulse tools available - pulse tools with shut-off and without shut-off. Please contact us to get more information which tool fits the best for you.
The Double-Chamber Air Motor
Our pulse tools are equiped with a double-chamber air motor with 9 vanes in total. That makes the design smaller and the created torque is much higher compared to conventional air motors. Therefore, the final torque is applied faster and the productivity of your assembly is increased.

Pulse Tools vs Impact Tools
Impact tools and pulse tools have a bread acceptance in the market and are used in various industrial applications. Why is a pulse tool the better choice in most cases? Pulse tools are reaching their hightes output torque to a saturation. So the final torque does not climb more and more if you would not release the trigger. With impact tools the final torque is rising and rising if you would not release the throttle. Overtorquing the joint can cause severe damage to your joint like plastic deformation of the bolt or the part. For more details please contact us.
