Tool Calibration
The traceability of the measured physical values of your assembly tools are a critical part in your production - especially, if you want to achieve the highest quality standards. According to that it is necessary to test your tools regularly. Our calibration service can service you with that. We always work according to local norms (for instance DKD) and guarantee you a hassle-free process.
The Relevance of Traceablity

The traceability of your assembly tools is a core element of your assembly line to produce quality. But was is traceability?
Tracablity means that you can trace back your controlled figure or value (e. g. torque or angle) back as near to the physical standard as possible - without breaking the chain. In practical terms: tool calibration can only be done with certified devices where the devices to certify your calibration device is also certifed by a higher standard, etc. The trace is documented with certificates which express the trace with statistical expressions and mathematical probabilities. To ensure that the certificates are accepted they should always follow industry standards linek ISO5393 or VDI/VDE 2647. Those standards determines the statistical and mathematical standards to calculate the limits.
A seamless trace is very important and should be taken seriously. You shouldn't trust a mesured value without trace like you would not buy meat in the super market when you know that the cooling chain was broken. The risk is to high!
But calibration should not be mistaken as a controll. Calibration is defined as comparing measured values with a reference. Control is defined as a detailed examination of the value within a statistical tolerance.
